Day 01
Makassar – Tanjung Bira

After breakfast, we will take you out for a scenic drive to Tanjung Bira. On the way, you will visit Bissappu waterfall in Bantaeng. Lunch en route. The Bugisnese and Makassarese is the expert of wooden boat makers and a skilful Sailor in Indonesia. At Tana Beru you can see Traditional Perahu construction. Dinner and overnight at simple accommodation.

Day 02
Tanjung Bira – Sengkang

After breakfast, transfer to Sengkang.  Located in the center of the Former Buginese Kingdom. In Watampone you will visit the museum of Andi Mapasissi to see his collection from the former Bugis Royalties. Lunch en route. Crossing the lake by motorized canoe and visiting the fisherman families who live on the floating villages. You may also have a chance to catch the beautiful  sunset over the Lake Tempe.  Overnight at guesthouse in Sengkang.

NOTE: The water elevation in Lake Tempe will be low during the dry season. Not recommended to crossing the lake.

Day 03
Sengkang – Toraja

After breakfast, You will visit a traditional silk factory, where you can see the traditional spinning and weaving of silk material by Bugisnesse women. Transfer to Tana Toraja via Palopo a small Moslem harbor port. Lunch en route. You will find the spectacular view during the trip to Toraja. In the afternoon arrival in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 04
Toraja (Lemo, Kambira, Suaya, Londa, Kete Kesu)

After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First you will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Then continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira. Onwards to Suaya to the graveyard of Kings of Sangalla lies on the hillsides, and then proceed to Londa to see ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried, but placed among the rocks. At Kete Kesu one of the oldest Torajan villages you can see Tongkonan (the traditional ancestral house, or rumah adat of the Torajan people), and also the old traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarving. Lunch in Rantepao. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Hotel.

Day 05
Toraja (Batu Tumonga, Soft Trekking, Weaving Center)

After breakfast, we will bring you out for a full day trip to Batutumonga, enjoying superb views of Rantepao and the surrounding valleys. You will enjoy a walk along the rice fields where you can see the daily life of Torajan people. Lunch in local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, visiting Pallawa, Sa’dan, known as the weaving center of Rantepao.  Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 06
Toraja – Makassar 

After breakfast, transfer back to Makassar. A coffee-break at Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. Afterwards transfer directly to Hotel in Makassar for dinner and overnight.

Day 07
Makassar – City Tour – Departure

After breakfast, we will take you on a short city tour, visiting Fort Rotterdam the old Dutch fortress and Paotere Anchorage the Makassarese and Bugisnese boat harbor. Afterwards, transfer directly to Hasanuddin International Airport for your next destination.
